Why does not Ligo join my group?

Please make sure that there is no other bot present in the group. LINE only allows one bot at a given time. After the other bot is removed. You can invite Ligo again and it will join the group.

Why language must be set up for each chat room?

Ligo is not a single-language translator which has prefix of what language to translate from and to. It supports more than 100+ languages. Chances are you have friends who speak different languages across chatrooms. That means, for each chatroom, you have to tell Ligo what language you'd like it to translate your messages to. This gives you flexibilities to have different language translations in a number of chatrooms that suited for its members.

Sometimes, not every word needs translation. You can tell Ligo to ignore a word by surrounding it with '{ }'. Like the example shown below:

In order for your friend to appear on the list when you are giving a PREMIUM,:

  • Your friend must be in the same group chat that you are in.
  • Your friend must turn on Ligo translation.

In order for groups to appear on the list when you are giving a PREMIUM,:

  • You must be a member of the group.
  • Ligo must be invited to the group.

How do I give a PREMIUM to a friend?

After you buy a FRIEND PREMIUM, the premium will be shown on the FRIEND PREMIUMS list (shown in picture below).

To give a friend the premium, click 'GIVE'. The dialog like below will be displayed.

Select a friend from the list and then click 'OK' to save the setting. Friend who you select will have unlimited language translation.

How do I give PREMIUM to a group?

After you buy a GROUP PREMIUM, the premium will be shown on the GROUP PREMIUMS list (shown in picture below)

To give a group the premium, click 'GIVE'. The dialog like below will be displayed.

Select a group or chat room from the list and then click 'OK' to save the setting. The members of the group which have been given PREMIUM will have unlimited language translation to use within the group.

To update your payment method, go to 'MY ACCOUNT' screen. At the top of the screen, you will see the section named 'Your Payment Method'. Click the icon to see the details. (shown in picture below)
